Shaded by Tsuga canadensis, Betula alleghaniensis, with Taxus canadensis, Adoxa moschatellina, Bryoxiphium norvegicum, Mnium punctatum, Tetraphis pellucida, Dicranella heteromalla and Conocephalum conicum. On soil of tip-up mound on slope.
