Habitat
NW facing Cambrian sandstone cliffs. Shaded by Tsuga canadensis (with Pinus strobus, P. resinosa higher up). Large dense colonies of Bryoxiphium norvergicum, Tetraphis pellucida, Mnium punctatum, Sullivantia renifolia, Acer spicatum, Dryopteris phegopteris and Lepraria. On damp cool lower part of cliff.
