Habitat
About 2 m. above creek or ground. Damp, cool, mostly shaded Cambrian sandstone cliffs. With Pinus strobus, Tsuga canadensis, 9 scattered colonies of Bryoxiphium norvegicum, Sullivantia renifolia, Lepraria, Dicranella heteromalla, Atrichum angustatum, and Polypodium virginianum.
