fantastically contorted into.a network of
branching & anastomosing ribs, smaller
branches often flattened & with undulating
patterns. Sometimes in alternately concave
& convex bulges, each convex bulge tipped
with a woody projection. Viscid transparent
mucilage in wood. Leaves midgreen, leathery
Young fruit with green calyx with 5 white
spreading appendages. iVuit with.rufous
silky hairs.
