Mixed restinga with high forest, bushy areas, damp open ground and marsh. This plant growing in woodland margins by marsh.

Description
Tree to 4 m. Leaves coriaceous, rather rigid glossy, mid-green above, paler beneath. Calyc yellowish-green. Corolla in bud white. Fruit immature, pendulous, green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
