Dry, disturbed forest, especially further from the trail head.

Description
Tree, 8 m tall. Profusely branched from base, without main trunk. Stems light brown, new ocreas green, old ones brown, very tightly appressed to stem, ca. 10 mm long. Inflorescence arising from base of uppermost leaf on a given stem. Flowers 3 mm diameter, pale green, tinged with white around lobes. Rachis of spikes green, filaments and pistils white, anthers brownish-white.
