Small tree 15' high, 4 " D.B.H. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Specimen Notes
Fruits make it possible to definitely classify the genus as Plinia. Fruita evidently not quite mature. A few were turning yellow. Palacios found this the same day on El Toro trail, west of Río Blanco ridge camp. New leaves densely ferruginous tomentose, some of new but larger leaves of dull or brick red color above.
