In thicker gallery scrub along brook course, whose species seem transitional between "morraria" and "caatinga". (The vegetation away from the brook course is "morraria", a variation of "tabuleiro".) [See label for further habitat description.].

Tree 4 m tall. Fruit spherical, 14-17 mm diam., orange. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
