Critical Notes by B. P. G. Hochreutiner. 1906
Name
Geococcus pusillus Drummond in Hook. Kew Journ.
Ⅲ 52; Benth. Fl. Aust. I, 80. This is the type!
Plant identical with same plant under same no.
Named by
in Kew Herb.
Indications concerning this specimen in Kew Herb.:
A note (ms) of Mr. Hensley states that the plant is
identical with *Blennodia* caraminoides.
This is very likely if one does not take an account
of the hypogeous fruit.
Observations:
An other note of unknown hand states: cf. *Bruchia*
*hypogaea* Vir. (= *Morisina* Auct. Guy.), fr. Corsica, Sardinia.
The fact, both plants have nearly the same fruit as well as
biologically or formally, but the habits of the plant differ.
I did not study the flower.
