  • Description

    Maple wood fragments. GJS study notes indicating isotype/lectotype. Original 3" x 5-1/2" envelope postmarked Potsdam NY, Dec 1, addressed to Ellis. Notes on this envelope include the handwritten comment, "This is a Nectria. So says Cooke." Also in the packet, handwritten field notes dated 6 Dec 1874; and, with no explanation, the name of Patellaria punctiformis Hoffm. Also, Clark T. Rogerson study notes.
