  Árbol con flores de pétalos amarillo claro que cambian a rojizo. Puede ser un híbrido o una variación del maricao Byrsonima coriacea. Crece en las serpentinas del oeste de Puerto Rico. Tree with flowers of pale yellow petals that change to reddish. It can be a hybrid or a variation of maricao, Byrsonima coriacea. It grows in the serpentines of the West of Puerto Rico.
