  Planta endémica que se diferencia de otras especies del mismo género por tener las hojas perforadas. Crece silvestre en riberas de ríos, quebradas y montañas del centro y oeste de Puerto Rico. Endemic plant that differs of others similar species for its perforated leaves. It grows wild along the shores of the rivers, creeks, and in mountains of the center and the West of Puerto Rico.
