  Bejuco trepador o rastrero que puede medir 30 pies de extensión. Posee hojas verde oscuro lustrosas lobuladas, zarcillos que le sirven de sostén, flores blancuzcas y frutos carnosos que cambian de verde olivo a anaranjado. Se encuentra en bosques, orillas de carreteras y áreas húmedas de mediana elevación en Puerto Rico y las Islas de Vieques y Culebra. Está distribuido en parte del territorio antillano. Climbing or creeping reed that can measure thirty feet of extension. It has dark bright lobed green leaves, tendrils that are used for support, whitish flowers, and fleshy fruits that change color from olive green to orange. It is in the forests, along borders of highways, and in humid areas at medium elevation in Puerto Rico and the Islands of Vieques and Culebra. It is distributed in some areas of the Antillean territory.
