  Bejuco que puede extenderse 9 pies trepando sobre otras plantas. Posee hojas coriáceas con el margen ondulado, flores blancas y frutos en una cápsula engrosada. Se ha cultivado como planta ornamental. En Puerto Rico abunda en terrenos en barbecho y a orillas de carreteras. Nativo de Asia, está distribuido en los trópicos americanos. Weed that can extend to nine feet climbing over other plants. It has leathery leaves with waved margins, white flowers, and fruits in a thickened capsule. It has been cultivated as an ornamental. In Puerto Rico, it abounds fallow terrains and along borders of highways. Native of Asia, it is distributed in the Tropical America.
