  Bejuco trepador leñoso de tallo fuerte que puede alcanzar 15 pies de longitud. Posee hojas verde lustrosas con vena central prominente, flores pequeñas amarillentas agrupadas en una cima torcida con corolas en forma de embudo y frutos anaranjados con manchas negras en drupas. Este bejuco endémico crece en los bosques húmedos de Puerto Rico. Climbing ligneous reed of strong stems that can reach to fifteen feet of length. It has green bright leaves with a prominent central vein and small yellowish flowers grouped in a twisted summit, with the corolla in the shape of funnel, and orange fruits with black spots in one drupe. This endemic grows spontaneous in the humid forests of Puerto Rico.
