  Planta que habita en las colinas calizas del suroeste de Puerto Rico. Todas las especies de este género tienen alcaloides tóxicos en la semilla y otros órganos de la planta. Está distribuida en las Antillas Mayores y Menores. Plant that lives in limestone hills of the Southwest of Puerto Rico. All the species of this sort have toxic alkaloids in the seed and other organs of the plant. It is also distributed in the Greater and Lesser Antilles.
