Description
The calyx-lobes of this species are long in comparison to the width, abaxially very thickly convex or even carinate, and only slightly imbricate at their bases. The androecium has a triple coil, a feature that is rare in Amazonia and the Guianas, and the gynoecium has an umbonate ovary summit and a papillate stigma which is best seen by zooming in on the stigma shown in D.
