The flowers of this species possess a truncate, puberulous, slight rugose hypanthiu; imbricate calxy-lobes; staminal ring lip; golf club shaped filaments in the outermost, anterior row of stamens of the staminal ring; a androeium with posterior and anterior extensions; vestigial stamens that are swept inward; an umbonate ovary summit; and a geniculate style.
