• Description

  The flowers of this species have a suclate hypanthium, imbricate calyx-lobes, a staminal ring lip, an androecial hood that is split into posterior and anterior hood extensions, vestigial stamens that arise from the posterior hood extension, an obliquely oriented style, a 4-locular ovary, placentae that arise from the lower septum, and obliquely and upwardly oriented ovules
