Description
The flowers of this species have sulcate hypanthia, imbricate calyx-lobes, an androecial hood with posterior and anterior hood appendages, vestigial stamens in the androecial hood, an obliquely oriented style, and placentation that arises from the lower septum at the junction with the lower septum and the floor of the locule.
