• Description

  The pubescence of this species is caducous, especially on the leaves; thus, it is often difficult to see trichomes after the leaves are fully expanded. The trichomes on the hypanthium, and the abaxial surfaces of the calyx-lobes and the petals are persistent and longer in length than those on the leaves.
