May 22, 1927 (Pittier 12407 . ..)." —Holotypus, VEN n.v.; isotypus, NY!. — Provisionally equated by Pittier with the preceding, but mistakenly referred to ser. Laetevirentes = genus Zapoteca.

On dry stony hills and in seasonally deciduous brush- woodland or chaparral, recorded definitely at 10001200 m, local within the range of var. glomerulata: n. Venezuela, between w.
