  Orquídea grande y robusta con pseudobulbos en mazos de 18 pulgadas de alto. Produce flores en masas en una inflorescencia bien ramificada. Crece sobre piedras, troncos de árboles y palmas en lugares donde hay luz brillante. Es una orquídea rara en los campos de Puerto Rico. Está distribuida en La Española, Cuba, Florida, Trinidad, México, Centro América y parte de Sur América. Large and robust orchid with pseudo bulbs in mallets of 18 inches of height. It produces flowers in masses in a well-grafted inflorescence. It grows on stones and trunks of trees and palms in places where there is shiny light. It is a rare orchid, found in the fields of Puerto Rico. It is distributed in Hispaniola, Cuba, Florida, Trinidad, Mexico, Central America and parts of South America.
