• Description

  Orquídea terrestre que posee rizoma verde alargado con raíces escasas en los nudos, eje erguido, hojas con nervios bien pronunciados y flores blancas con un espolón en forma de saco donde se produce néctar. Abunda en los bosques de tabonuco y palo colorado en las montañas de la Sierra de Luquillo. Está distribuida en las Indias Occidentales. Terrestrial orchid that has green enlongated rhizome with scarce roots in the knots, raised axis, leaves with pronounced nerves, and white flowers with a spur in the shape of a sac where it produces nectar. It abounds in the forests with "tabonuco" and "palo colorado" in mountains of the Mountain range of Luquillo. It is distributed in the West Indies.
