  Planta anual de hojas alternas con flores irregulares de corolas lobuladas blancas en cimas y frutos en bayas ovales negras jugosas. Los frutos son sudoríficos, al interior inducen la menstruación. Estos usos pueden tener efectos tóxicos. Se puede observar en rocas y arenas costeras de Puerto Rico. Está distribuida en las Antillas. Annual plant of alternating leaves irregular flowers with white lobed corolla in summits, and fruits in a black oval juicy berry. The fruits are used to promote sweat and induce menstruation. These uses can have toxic effects. It can be observed on rocks and in the coastal sands of Puerto Rico. It is distributed in the Antilles.
