  Planta anual herbácea pubescente con hojas y flores pequeñas de color morado pálido. Se ha usado como vomitivo, purgante y contra las lombrices. Habita en terrenos cultivados y baldíos en elevaciones medias y bajas de Puerto Rico. Está distribuida en las Antillas. Annual pubescent herbaceous plant with small leaves and flowers of pale mulberry color. It has been used like a vomitive, laxative, and against parasites. It grows in cultivated and uncultivated lands at medium and low elevations of Puerto Rico. It is distributed in the Antilles.
