• Description

  Planta epífita pequeña de flores vistosas, pseudobulbos cubiertos por brácteas membranosas, hojas duras en forma de lengua y flores purpúreas rosadas con espuelas destacadas llamativas. Crece en los árboles de los bosques de las montañas en elevaciones altas de Adjuntas, El Verde, Monte Guilarte y la Sierra de Luquillo en Puerto Rico. Está distribuida en las Antillas Mayores, México, América Central y norte de América del Sur. Small epiphytic plant of attractive flowers, small pseudo bulbs covered by membranous bracteates, hard leaf in the shape of a tongue and pink purple flowers with an attractive outstanding spur. It grows in the forests of mountains at high elevations as Adjuntas, El Verde, Guilarte, and the Mountain range of Luquillo in Puerto Rico. It is distributed in the Greater Antilles, Mexico, Central America, and the North of South America.
