• Description

  Bejuco trepador que puede alcanzar 6 pies de extensión. Se caracteriza por hojas trifoliadas, flores violeta rosado en racimos y frutos achatados en forma de legumbre. Es frecuente en pastizales costeros de Puerto Rico y las Islas de Vieques, Culebra e Icacos. Está distribuido en algunas islas de las Antillas Menores. Climbing reed that can reach to six feet of extension. It is characterized by trifoliate leaves, violet pink flowers in racemes, and flattened fruits in legume shape. It is frequent in coastal thickets of Puerto Rico and the Islands of Vieques, Culebra and Icacos. It is distributed in some islands of the Lesser Antilles.
