  Abaxial view of the surface of a leaf blade(SEM - 500x) of Lecythis ibiriba based on A. Pereira de Araújo 368 from the Municipio de Entre Rios, Bahia, Brazil. Note that the stomates are sunken in stomatal crypts. The large stomate represents a punctation seen a lower magnification.
