  Comparison of the fruits of Eschweilera sp. based on Reinaldo Aguilar & Catherine Santamaria 11666 and Eschweilera aguilarii from the Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The fruit on the left, E. aguilarii, is vouchered by Aguilar 11668. These two collections may represent different stages of fruit development of the same species.
