  Stem of Lecythis sp. based on Mori et al. 27269 from Km 41 of the Biological Dynamics of Forest Fragments Project, Amazonas, Brazil. This species has been informally called Lecythis brasileiriorum and has never been collected in flower. Note the very narrowly alate stems.
