  Flower of Eschweilera laevicarpa based on Mori et al. 27243 from Km 41 of the Biological Dynamics of Forest Fragments Project, Amazonas, Brazil. Note the zig-zag inflorescences rachis and the small, bluish-green bruises on the androecial hood of the flower.
