Pollen being exudated through the apical pore of an anther of Rhododenron periclymenoides based on S. A. Mori & M. Rothman 28028 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Co., New York. The pollen grains are held together by viscin in this and other members of the Ericaceae family.
