  Inflorescence of Eschweilera collinsii based on Reinaldo Aguilar 10637 from the Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Note that the flowers of this individual are strongly tinged with red. Most individuals of the species have white or pale yellow petals and androecial hoods.
