Leaf, fruit, seeds, funicle aril of Lecythis tuyrana based on de Sedas 216 from a cultivated tree in the Canal Zone, Panama. The upper left image shows the attachment of seeds in the fruit (there are 4 locules as indicated by the numbers). The lower right image shows at seed with a fresh funicle and aril.
