  Venation of Dryopteris cristata based on Mori & Rothman 27855 from Westchester Land Trust/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Land Trust, Westchester, Co., New York. The leaf veins arise from the central rachis and bifurcate as they travel to the margin of the pinnule.
