  Head of Symphyotrichum lanceolatum based on Mori & Rothman 27850 from the Westchester Land Trust/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester County, New York. The phyllaries have a band of green running down the middle of their length and parallel white bands between the green margin and the margin of the phyllary. Photo from a dried specimen.
