Description
Description - Leaves 15-40 cm long, 10-20 cm broad, elliptic to oblong, shortly acuminate or mucronate; margin more or less repand; beneath the larger veins puberulous to pubescent. Peduncles of the inflorescences 22-40 cm long. Staminate flowers without perianth, anthers 0.4-0.7 mm long and ca 0.5 mm broad.

Discussion
This subspecies can be easily distinguished from the other subspecies by the more or less repand leaf margin.
The leaves may also bear the kind of galls met with in the preceding subspecies. -
