Description
Description - A tall cespitose perennial with compressed culms and sheaths, the internodes sulcate on the side toward the sheaths, thin, strongly plaited blades commonly 50 cm. long and 5 cm. wide, and elongate narrow panicles with slender bristles several times longer than the spikelets.
