Description - A slender creeping branching perennial, the ascending or erect flower culms 30 to 50 cm. tall, the lanceolate blades undulate-margined; racemes ascending or spreading, as much as 3 cm. long, usually 1 to 2 cm. ; sheaths glabrous or hirsute.
