    Description - Subshrub 0.5 m; stem terete, densely striolate, younger stem pilose, trichomes spreading; leaves petiolate, blades ovate 3-7 x 2.5-4 cm, apically acuminate, younger blades pubescent, older becoming glabrate, margin entire; inflorescence terminal, somewhat congested, 1-3 axillary branches; calyx lobes somewhat unequal, filiform, densely glandular-pubescent; corolla lilac, tube 14 mm long, upwards gradually enlarged, glabrous, lobes rounded.
