  • Discussion

In the description given of this species in my monograph, notes on the peduncle were unfortunately omitted. It is worthwhile also to amend the description in certain details in view of recent collections thus: Leaves unlobed, up to 18 cm. long and 8.5 cm. wide, asymmetrically 2-lobed or 3-lobed to within 2 cm. of the base; peduncles very slender, almost filiform, 17-60 cm. long, pendulous; flowers up to 14 cm. wide when expanded.
