Description
Species Description - A tree 20-30 m. tall, with slender grayish brown twigs, pubescent with strigillose hairs. Leaves oblong or oblong-obovate, 2-5.5 cm. long, 0.5-1.3 cm. broad, obtuse or rounded at the apex, acute at the base, light green and glabrous above, paler beneath and pubescent; flowers about 3 cm. in diameter; sepals oval or suborbicular, 4.5-6 mm. long, 4-6 mm. broad, pubescent on the back with appressed hairs; petals obovate, 1.2-1.3 cm. long, 6-7 mm. broad, rounded at the apex, pubescent; filaments filiform, glabrous; ovary villous.
