Description
Species Description - A glabrous shrub, 4 m. high, with rather stiff, somewhat flexuose twigs. Leaves elliptic to elliptic-ovate, rigid-coriaceous, 3-6 cm. long, 1.5-3.3 cm. broad, obtuse or rounded at the apex, a cute at the base, dark green above, paler beneath, the midvein elevated on both sides, the lateral veins often rather indistinct, the margin minutely crenulate; petioles 5 mm. long or less; pedicels slender, up to 7 mm. long; capsule globose-obovoid, 8 mm. long, 7-8 mm. in diameter.
