Description
Species Description - Stem slender, puberulent. Leaves membranous, lanceolate to ovate, acuminate, coarsely toothed, 3-nerved, glabrous, those of each pair unequal in size; larger leaves up to 5 cm. long, 1.8 cm. wide, with slender petioles 0.7-1cm. long; smaller leaves 1-2 cm. long, 0.6-1 cm. wide, the petioles 2-4 mm. long; upper leaf-surfaces covered with minute white linear raphids, those of the lower surface rather inconspicuous; pistillate inflorescence slender, longer than the leaves; achenes elliptic, 1 mm. long.
