Discussion
This species is nearest related to P. fastigiata, but is greener and with a more open cyme. As to the pubescence of the leaves, it resembles P. viridescens ; but is in every respect smaller and the stem is not erect. On account of its small size, it could just as well be referred to the maadata group as to the graciles. The type grew at an altitude of about 1600 m.
