Description
Species Description - A shrub, 3 m. high or less, with slender straggling branches, or a vine up to 7 m. long, glabrous or very nearly so throughout. Leaves oblong to obi. oblanceolate, thin, but somewhal fleshy, 5-10 cm. long, acute or acuminate at the apex, narrowed or cuneate al the base, darkening in drying, the petioles 5-10 mm. long, the broad persistent stipules subulate-tipped; flowers white or pinkish, in axillary, short peduncled heads; corolla 6-8 mm. long. its lobes shorter than the tube; syncarp subglobose, 8 - 25mm in diameter, yellow.
