Description
Species Description - Annual, fleshy, more or less glaucous, diffuse, the branches 1.5-4.5 dm. long. Leaves linear, or linear-oblong, entire, inconspicuously veined, 2-5 cm. long, 3-6 mm. wide, obtuse, narrowed into petioles, or the upper sessile; scorpioid spikes dense, bractless, mostly in pairs; flowers about 4 mm. broad; calyx-segments acute; corolla white with a yellow eye or changing to blue; stigma umbrella-shaped; anthers acuminate; fruit globose.
