    Species Description - Slender, glabrate or densely pubescent, 0.5-2 m. long, sometimes much branched. Leaves ovate, 2-4 cm. long, slender-petioled, entire or slightly repand, acute or acuminate at the apex, cordate at the base; peduncles slender, mostly as long as the leaves or longer; cymes dense, several-flowered; pedicels usually shorter than the calyx; sepals ovate to lanceolate, acute or acuminate, 5-7 mm. long, the outer broader than the inner; corolla blue, rarely white, 2-3 cm. broad; capsule subglobose, about as long as the sepals or a little shorter.
