  • Description

    Species Description - Plants 0.2-0.3 mm wide. Leaf lobes parallel to and not arching beyond stem, not spreading, ovate, 1.5-1.8 times longer than wide, apex rounded, margins entire, plane or ventral margin incurved. Cells isodiametrical, in midlobe ca. 15 µm long, rather thin-walled, trigones small to medium-sized; ocelli lacking. Lobules 1/2-2/3 of leaf length, not reduced, keel crenate by convex cells, apical tooth sharp, straight or curved. Underleaves 4-8 cells wide at base, 1.5-2 times stem width, underleaf lobes acute, with a tip of 1 cell or 2 in a row. Autoicous.
